So, I finally gave in and went to Dupont Threading yesterday. It seemed to be the least mediocre of threading options in the city (my only other viable option would have been to get my brows waxed, and that’s a no-no). I went on Yelp and searched through the 250+ reviews and although alot of people say they had decent service, never failing to mention Nitasha, the supposed threading goddess, I know that what I look for eyebrow wise is a little different than some. I am a shapeaholic. I see no purpose in aimlessly ripping hair from my skin if said action isn’t going frame my face. I don’t enjoy getting multiple lines of hair ripped my face only to end up with “cleaned up” brows. Nisha did my brows, and I must say she did a fabulous job. I’m not sure if this is because she already had a blueprint for a shape to work with, or if she just knew what she was doing. I can definitely say she made them slightly thinner than the ladies that I go to at home, but it compliments my understated features. She also didn’t thread the hairs as close to the root as I’m used to, so I definitely felt the hairs being pulled form my face a little more than usual. Regardless, it worked. Although Dupont Threading is twelve damn dollars, I have no other real options and I do like how my eyebrows look.

Dupont’s a go.

Literally nowhere to go to get my eyebrows done. I guess Dupont Threading it is…>_>

I’ll be sure to come back with a full report for y’all.
